TIL that in Uzbekistan, 30 million population country, people stay in line to get their wages. Throughout few months I spoke with 10 different experts from Uzbekistan and here's what I found...

Their country have something like 30 or more banks. And their banking system until February 2016 and all those quantity of banks still haven't figured out how to provide people ability to send money from 1 city to other city within the country (Even with mPesa in Africa you can do this with mobile phone).
Their capital is called Tashkent (population 2 million) - its the only place where people can buy e-gold type of currency called webmoney (wmz) which is under Russian jurisdiction - these type of electronic money is being sold with 5% extra fee, because people who sell this "WMZ" (1 WMZ equivalent of 1 U.S. dollar) have to bring it from Moscow city (Russia), there is no official way of buying it inside of country.
Uzbekistan government is so oppressive, that they have banned the Skype, Play Market, WhatsApp (being banned by company called Beeline which is international company and huge shame to them).
Their Internet is a little bit cheaper in Tashkent, but all other 28 million people have to pay for their carrier plan 50 megabytes of the Internet-traffic would cost you $2.
The only messenger that works in Uzbekistan is Telegram. Since 2015 I'm developing a Telegram group there https://telegram.me/ru_bitcoin you can join it, most Uzbek people know English.
ATM machines in Uzbekistan take 10% fee even if you want to take your own money. People wait their salaries FOR MONTHS to be transferred from employer to employee between their banking accounts. That's why their families is always hungry.
Official government in Uzbekistan lie to everyone about their dollar rate (3000 UZS according to official rates), they blame black dollar market for their internal banking crisis. While the black dollar market (7000 UZS according to real street rate) is the only way for a citizen to acquire U.S. dollars (because you have to wait in line for 6 months to get dollars at 3000 UZS rate which is 2 times cheaper)
I have opened a forum topic at Russian Bitcoin forum where I asked Russian audience to take action towards Bitcoin adoption in Uzbekistan https://forum.bits.media/index.php?/topic/22678-razgovarival-ia-s-uzbekami-oni-khotiat-bitkoiny-no/ but these Russians seem very ignorant and not supportive at all, their moderation team is a shame (this forum also known as BTCsec it is run by a guy named Ivan Tikhonov) put my topic into the "off-topic" section (like its not important at all - also they are censoring almost everything) while they have all the payment tools to help Uzbek people to start trading.
I am myself spending almost all my spare time to figure out solutions.
Problems with salary could be solved through Bitcoin, because people could get their salary faster if payment could go P2P between their users through LocalBitcoins or through @BTC_CHANGE_BOT which is has the same functionality as LocalBitcoins, but much more economically reasonable, because Uzbek people always have small amount of very expensive bandwidth.

Simple steps I've done which helped to improve the LocalBitcoins popularity in Russia

Right now perhaps you already saw that topics which says that LocalBitcoins going up in Russia. And this is great news! (http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/localbtcRUB#igWeeklyzm1g10zm2g25zvzcv)
I am and my friend work hard on explaining people the LocalBitcoins basics - we even have our Local meet ups with ~150 attendants in my city. I am that guy who created multiple LocalBitcoins promoting forum topics, here's few of them (4 months ago): here https://forum.btcsec.com/index.php?/topic/9256-localbitcoinscom-megaobmennik-aktualnyi-v-rossii/ and here https://forum.btcsec.com/index.php?/topic/9546-pochemu-ia-schitaiu-99-privedyonnykh-zdes-obmennikov-n/ and we have another P2P exchanger: https://forum.btcsec.com/index.php?/topic/8690-matbi-kupitprodat-bitkoin-matbi-otzyvy/
And of course I keep telling everyone in Russia about localbitcoins using all communication channels possible.
Also 2 weeks ago I've made thousands of edits to improve our http://ru.bitcoin.it Bitcoin wiki section, and created "Limited Supply" page on Russian My nickname on Bitcoin's wiki is earlfox. https://ru.bitcoin.it/wiki/%D0%9E%D0%B3%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%87%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D1%8D%D0%BC%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%81%D0%B8%D1%8F Here's another wiki page I've created: https://ru.bitcoin.it/wiki/LocalBitcoins
Here's the descriptions I've edited to put LocalBitcoins at the top of the wiki exchange services listings: https://ru.bitcoin.it/wiki/%D0%9F%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B4%D0%B0%D0%B6%D0%B0_%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B9%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2 (sell bitcoins) https://ru.bitcoin.it/wiki/%D0%9F%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%BE%D0%B1%D1%80%D0%B5%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%B5_%D0%B1%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B9%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B2 (buy bitcoins)
History says that I've done last edits on November 30.
I am not saying that LocalBitcoin's success, is 100% my efforts, my friends were helping me too.
And also I'm encouraging everybody who knows even a little of their own local languages - go ahead and edit your own version of wiki - because Bitcoin's Wiki could be improved by EVERYONE! Go ahead and find the most convenient way to exchange their Bitcoins & put it on your language wiki page as a first exchange & also talk about it everywhere on your national forums.
Everything begun 1 year ago when I found out about LocalBitcoins and its convenience in Russia.
You can see my history on Reddit that I have thousands of posts promoting P2P systems.
P2P systems are great for countries like Russia, because this is something new for Russia! Previously before Bitcoin we had such famous system called "WebMoney" - since this company is located in offshore countries and not fully compliant to Russian laws, people created great digital currency infrastructure very similar to Bitcoin (you may think of WebMoney as of e-gold because it operates completely the same way but without illegal operations like official drug selling - but unofficially - maybe someone doing it).
Why LocalBitcoin becomes popular in Russia? Because our systems like sberbank, QIWI, webmoney, yandex.money are pretty much competitors and don't like sending money to each other - but 99% of Internet population are using these services, and everybody think that it is unfair that I can't make a payments from Sberbank to QIWI, from QIWI to Yandex.Money - but those things could be easily exchanged among each other using LocalBitcoins.com!
LocalBitcoins is the way to go in Russia if you would like to easily purchase your first Bitcoins!
And even if local governments will shutdown access to LocalBitcoins.com (because Russian Internet ISP's has law for censoring the Internet - THEY CAN BAN ANY WEB-SITE - AND THEY'VE ALREADY BANNED A LOTS OF WEB-SITES! which is totally unfair)
** UPDATE ** Didn't expected such a wonderful response from reddit. Going to share about this on our Russian forums to mark the importance of telling people about LocalBitcoins in our country (because only 5% of Bitcoin users here in Russia knows that they can buy Bitcoins so conveniently at LocalBitcoins without having to use only 1 system - Yandex.Money which is the only system which is offered at http://btc-e.com - our 1st popular Bitcoin exchange which can be easily shutdown by government) We have way more Bitcoin-friendly systems and not only Yandex.Money!
Here's the list of our Bitcoin-friendly systems: Sberbank.Online, QIWI, Yandex.Money, WebMoney, TCS iPhone/Web Banking, Alpha Bank Direct Payments, CONTACT, KUKURUZA and this is only 10% of the systems existing on the territory of our country!
The revolution here is the thing that you can build your own P2P web-site like LocalBitcoins - and if your User Interface / technologies like MultiSig (which is absent right now on LocalBitcoins), then you don't even need a license for such service to work in our country!

Moderators of Russian bitcointalk.org are very very ignorant people.

Please everyone! Don't be selfish. Why? Russian Internet experiencing the most horrible downfall in the history of Bitcoin.
And for the part of the problem I'm blaming the BitcoinTalk.org forum!
I know that nobody can be bullish about policy stuff in this community, but I have evidence of 99% truth about mismanagement of this important section. I'm even eager to write petition about this, and I won't give up until the problem solved.
Here's the biggest problem of Russian BitcoinTalk.org:
I can find faucets almost in every category in such abundance that you'll hate real life faucets after having your UI on this forum!
Okay you'll skip this another thread, just because you'll think that another stupid Bitcoin forum for another stupid country.
This is not the case. I am not exagerating when I'll say that BitcoinTalk.org Russian section is a Reddit.com/Bitcoin for Russia.
I will explain why: before Russian bitcoin.org ban we had forums.btcsec.com, but after it went offline caused by ban, the BitcoinTalk.org flooded with topics and new users and BitcoinTalk is still available and not banned here in Russia!
I'm just disappointed on how community could be so disorganized... This is my country why you have to disqualify, bash it and so disrespectfully discriminate our Bitcoin community?
Why no one cares?
